Serenity Valley Map Limited-Edition Lithographs Now Shipping
As the site where the Independents lost their struggle and the Alliance cemented its nearly uncontested dominance of the ‘Verse, it’s surprising how little we know about Serenity Valley – that is, until now.
Thanks to the exhaustive labors of ‘Verse historian and QMx artisan Ben Mund, we have at last an exceptionally detailed map of this historic site. This 30” x 26.5” lithograph is printed on 100-pound, satin-finish paper and contains a complete topographical rendering of the infamous valley.
This map is part of QMx's Serenity lithographs series, and each print in the 1,500 limited edition will be hand-signed and numbered by Mr. Mund.

At The Firefly Ship Works our goal is to create reliable transport for you and yours, as you endeavor to reach vistas unseen and wilderness yet to be tamed. As such, we have put together this Cortex Wave Server (CWS) to keep you informed of our efforts to create the ‘Verse’s first and only screen-accurate Firefly Series 3, the Serenity Artisan Replica.

Black Market Beagles Joins QMx Family
Black Market Beagles (BMB), home of "Discrete Geek" design, has become a part of the QMx family.
Formed in 2006 by Adam Levermore-Rich (a name that should be familiar to many QMx customers) as a creative outlet for his love of Firefly and Serenity, BMB soon grew to encompass all sorts of fan obsessions. Offering designs that have a cool factor all their own, BMB products also include a "secret handshake" integrated into their designs for fans of a particular franchise.
QMx will continue in this tradition and will look to expand on it, offering t-shirts, patches, bumper stickers and other geek goodies both from Adam and other designers, such as the new Cerberus t-shirt designed by Geoffrey Mandel.

Limited to just 500 scale replicas, we're doing these a little different that other high-end collectible ships you may have seen in the past: Each ship will be built by hand in the U.S. by the special-effects artists at The FX Company, a leading film model miniature maker. As a result, each model will benefit from the same care and attention to detail a filming miniature for a major motion picture would get, but for considerably less than what a professionally built, custom model would normally cost.

"I Aim to Misbehave" Maquette
Part of QMx's new Serenity: Unification War series, The ISV Cerberus is a Series 3 Firefly – just like Serenity – but with a military refit that made it one of the baddest ships ever to take up arms against the Alliance.
The Firefly Gunboat variant was the backbone of the Independents air and space forces during the Unification War, equally capable of taking on ground targets and capital ships. Inexpensive to operate and heavily armored, the gunboats gave the Independents an early advantage in the guerrilla battles that dominated the war.
For her debut, we see our "Big Dog" taking a much-deserved break, reinforcing an Independents encampment in one of the deserts on Persephone. Look closely and you can see some of her crew and Browncoat marines moving under her shadow. This poster is full of little details and surprises, from the tattered 12th Cavalry flag hanging from the side of a gun emplacement to the "Eat This Purple Bellies" scrawled on the sides of Cerberus' big missiles.
